Ingredients

– 2 ribeye steaks, each 1 to 1½ inches thick

– ¼ cup whiskey

– ¼ cup pure maple syrup

– ¼ cup soy sauce

– ½ teaspoon kosher salt

– ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– A splash of apple cider vinegar

Instructions

1-First, prepare your setup by mixing ¼ cup whiskey, ¼ cup pure maple syrup, ¼ cup soy sauce, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper in a bowl. Coat the 2 ribeye steaks, each 1 to 1½ inches thick, in this marinade and let them sit for at least an hour.

2-Next, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steaks and cook until they reach your desired doneness, flipping once for even cooking.
