🥘 Set-it-and-forget-it meal that delivers restaurant-quality flavor with minimal effort

  • Total Time: 6 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 2 pounds beef stew meat for tenderizing in the slow cooker

– 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes for soaking up the garlic butter sauce

– 1 packet onion soup mix for adding savory depth and seasoning base

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder for boosting garlic flavor throughout

– 1/2 teaspoon sea salt for light seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper for adding mild heat

– 3 garlic cloves, minced for bold aroma and taste

– 4 tablespoons butter for creating rich garlic-butter sauce

– 1/2 cup water or beef broth for keeping moist and building sauce

– 1 pound green beans, trimmed for tender-crisp texture

Instructions

1-Step 1: Prep ingredients Gather everything for your Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Bites Potatoes. Cut larger baby potatoes to similar sizes for even cooking. Trim 1 pound green beans. Mince 3 garlic cloves. Prep takes about 10 minutes total.

2-Step 2: Assemble in slow cooker Spray the slow cooker insert with nonstick spray. Add the 2 pounds beef stew meat and 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes. Sprinkle 1 packet onion soup mix, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and minced garlic over the meat and potatoes. Dot with 4 tablespoons butter. Pour in 1/2 cup water or beef broth.

3-Step 3: Cook the base Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir occasionally. Total time is about 6 hours 10 minutes on low. Slow cooker times vary by model and potato size, so check tenderness.

4-Step 4: Add green beans In the last 1 to 2 hours, add trimmed green beans and extra butter if desired. This keeps them tender but not soggy. Fresh green beans work best; use frozen but add even later.

5-Step 5: Finish and serve Taste before adding extra salt due to onion soup mix. Let rest 10 minutes. Serve hot. Sprinkle parmesan on potatoes for extra flavor if you like parmesan potatoes.
