🦀 This Seafood Boil Ramen Recipe combines fresh shellfish with a spicy and flavorful broth for a satisfying meal.
🌶️ It offers a comforting and protein-rich bowl perfect for seafood lovers craving bold, vibrant flavors.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

– ¼ lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch thick pieces

– 1 tbsp butter

– ¼ cup onion, diced

– ¼ cup celery, diced

– ¼ cup green bell pepper, diced

– ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning

– ½ tsp Cajun seasoning

– ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp chicken bouillon

– 1 tbsp liquid crab boil

– ½ lb crab legs

– ½ lb shrimp, frozen or thawed, shell on or off, cleaned

– 1 packet ramen noodles of choice

– 2 large eggs, soft boiled and peeled

Instructions

1-Start by getting all your ingredients ready to make the process smooth and fun. First, heat a large pot or pan over medium heat with 1 tsp cooking oil and cook the sausage until it’s crispy, which takes about 5 minutes. Remove the sausage and set it aside, then pour out the oil to keep things fresh.

2-Next, melt the butter in the same pot and add the onion, celery, and bell pepper. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes, cooking until the veggies soften, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for just 30 seconds to bring out its aroma without burning it.

3-Then, pour in 3 cups of water, the chicken bouillon, liquid crab boil, and crab legs. Bring everything to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld. Uncover the pot, add the ramen noodles and shrimp, and optionally include seasoning from the ramen packet if you want extra flavor.

4-Make sure the noodles are submerged; you might need to move the crab legs temporarily. Return to a boil and cook uncovered for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep the noodles from sticking. Finally, assemble your bowls by topping the noodles and broth with the cooked sausage, seafood, and soft-boiled eggs, and garnish with scallions if desired.
