Ingredients
12 fudge-stripe cookies
1/3 cup yellow frosting
12 miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped
12 orange mini candy pieces
Instructions
1-Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the 12 fudge-stripe cookies in a single layer with the fudge side facing up.
2-Place the 1/3 cup yellow frosting in a piping bag fitted with a large round tip and pipe a dollop slightly bigger than a peanut butter cup in the center of each cookie.
3-Press an unwrapped miniature peanut butter cup upside down onto the frosting so the frosting seeps out to form a hatband.
4-Add an orange mini candy piece on the frosting band to create a buckle, giving your cookies that classic Pilgrim Hat look.
5-Refrigerate the assembled cookies for 15 to 20 minutes to let the frosting set before serving, ensuring they stay firm and fresh.

๐ฉ Using fudge-stripe cookies gives a larger brim resembling a hat.
๐ A zip-lock bag with a small hole can be a handy alternative to a piping bag.
๐ฅถ Refrigerate peanut butter cups before unwrapping to maintain shape and prevent sticking.
