1Β½ cups creamy peanut butter divided (use 1ΒΌ cups + ΒΌ cup)
1ΒΎ cups powdered sugar
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1Β½ cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
1-Line an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
2-In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with 1ΒΌ cups of the peanut butter until combined.
3-Add the powdered sugar and stir until fully incorporated with no dry spots.
4-Fold in the graham cracker crumbs, press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan, and smooth the top. Refrigerate to set.
5-In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the remaining ΒΌ cup peanut butter. Heat in 30-40 second intervals, stirring between intervals, until mostly melted; then stir until smooth.
6-Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer, smooth the top, and chill for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
