ΒΌ cup butter used for spreading on the bread

4 cloves minced garlic divided for flavor in butter and topping

A big handful of fresh basil leaves, cut into chiffonade or chopped infuses herbal freshness

1 cup ricotta cheese whipped for a creamy base

Balsamic glaze for topping (quantity as desired) adds a flavorful drizzle

6-Blend the 1 cup ricotta cheese in a food processor until smooth and creamy for that perfect creamy ricotta layer.

7-Spread the whipped ricotta on the toasted bread slices, stir in the big handful of fresh basil leaves into the peach and tomato mixture, and spoon it over the ricotta.

8-Optionally, drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve immediately to enjoy the fresh herbs and flavors at their peak.
