Ingredients

– 1/3 cup unsalted butter (softened)

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 1 large egg yolk (at room temperature)

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 4 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate

– 1/2 cup heavy cream

– Sprinkle of sea salt flakes (to taste, before serving)

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare your tart molds.

2-Mix dough ingredients: Mix 1/3 cup softened unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 large egg yolk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup all-purpose flour to form the dough.

3-Press and bake dough: Press the dough into molds and bake for about 10-15 minutes until firm.

4-Prepare chocolate filling: Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream until just simmering, then pour over 4 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate and stir until smooth.

5-Fill and chill: Fill the baked shells with the chocolate mixture and chill until set.
