Ingredients

– 4 egg whites, room temperature

– 1 cup sugar

– 3 tablespoons flavored gelatin powder (any flavor)

– A dash of salt

– 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions

1-Prepare all ingredients and ensure egg whites are at room temperature and bowls are clean and dry.

2-Whip egg whites with cream of tartar using an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.

3-Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to whip, increasing speed to high until stiff, glossy peaks form.

4-Gently fold in Jello powder, making sure not to deflate the mixture.

5-Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

6-Pipe or spoon meringue mixture onto baking sheets in desired shapes.

7-Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until dry to touch.

8-Turn off oven and allow cookies to cool inside with door slightly ajar.

9-Store cookies in an airtight container once completely cool, adapting for dietary needs as required.
