2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl.
2. Use approximately 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of ground beef.
3. Divide 1 pound of 80/20 ground beef into 4 portions, pressing a small indent in the center of each.
4. Season patties by rubbing seasoning into both sides or mixing it into the ground beef.
5. Grill over medium heat for about 3 1/2 minutes per side for medium doneness.
