Ingredients
1 box store-bought brownie mix
1 package ghost-shaped sugar cookie dough
Approximately ΒΌ cup Halloween-themed chocolate candies (like M&Mβs)
Additional Halloween-themed chocolate candies for sprinkling on top (optional)
Instructions
1-Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (Β°F).
2-Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, taking care not to overmix the batter.
3-Stir about ΒΌ cup Halloween-themed chocolate candies into the prepared brownie batter.
4-Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Pour the brownie batter evenly into the prepared dish.
5-Place 15 pieces of the premade ghost-shaped sugar cookie dough on top of the brownie batter. Space them out to allow for spreading during baking.
6-Optionally, sprinkle additional Halloween-themed chocolate candies over the top of the cookie dough pieces.
7-Bake for 28 to 30 minutes. The brookies are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached, and the edges appear slightly crispy.
8-Allow the brookies to cool completely in the baking dish before slicing into servings. Using a plastic knife can help prevent tearing.
