Ingredients

– 1 pound lean ground turkey or ground pork

– 3/4 cup peeled and finely shredded sweet potato with excess liquid squeezed out

– 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– freshly ground black pepper to taste

– olive oil for spraying the pan

Instructions

1-Start by mixing 1 pound of lean ground turkey or ground pork with 1/2 cup of finely minced yellow onion in a large bowl.

2-Add 3/4 cup of peeled and finely shredded sweet potato, making sure to squeeze out any excess liquid first.

3-Mix in 1/2 cup of rolled or quick oats, 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

4-Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet sprayed with olive oil.
