🌶️ Savor the spicy and creamy flavors of this Hatch Green Chile Cheese Dip, perfect for adding a zesty kick to your appetizers.
🧀 This dip combines roasted green chiles with a blend of cheeses for a delicious, gluten-free, and vegetarian-friendly treat.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 4 ounces diced green chiles Adds heat and smoky flavor

– 8 ounces cream cheese Creates a creamy base

– 1 cup (plus 3/4 cup for topping) shredded Monterey Jack cheese Provides melt-in-your-mouth texture

– 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)

– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/8 teaspoon salt

– 3 dashes hot sauce (adjust to taste)

Instructions

1-First, in a mixing bowl, combine the diced green chiles, cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth for a great base.

2-Second, spread the mixture evenly into a small baking dish to help it bake uniformly.

3-Third, sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese on top for a gooey finish.

4-Fourth, bake for about 15 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles around the edges. This step brings out the flavors just right.

5-Fifth, remove from the oven and serve immediately with chips, crostini, or sliced bell peppers. It’s ready to enjoy warm and creamy.
