– 2 tablespoons cookie butter

– 3 teaspoons ground ginger

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

– ΒΌ teaspoon ground nutmeg

– Β½ cup whipped cream for optional toppings

– Miniature marshmallows for optional toppings

– Cocoa powder for sprinkling for optional toppings

– Cinnamon sticks for garnish and stirring for optional toppings

– Mini gingerbread men for garnish and dunking for optional toppings

Instructions

1-Combine the chocolate milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, brown sugar, cookie butter, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg in a large saucepan.

2-Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar and cookie butter dissolve completely. Make sure to avoid boiling or scalding the mixture.

3-Heat for about 5 minutes until the mixture is steaming and warmed thoroughly. Take a moment to test the temperature and flavor by sampling it.

4-Remove from heat and pour into mugs, filling about three-quarters full to leave room for toppings.

5-Top each mug with whipped cream, miniature marshmallows, and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

6-Add a cinnamon stick for stirring and a mini gingerbread man for dunking.
