4: In a separate smaller bowl, mix 1/2 cup of the prepared batter with ground cinnamon and molasses to create the swirl batter, adding that signature twist.
5: Pour half of the plain batter into the loaf pan, add dollops of half the cinnamon batter on top, then layer with the remaining plain batter and dot with the rest of the cinnamon batter.
