Ingredients

– 1 Β½ cups (335 ml) very cold heavy cream

– β…“ cup (66 g) granulated sugar

– ΒΌ cup (25 g) cocoa powder

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1-Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to set the stage for perfect whipping.

2-Pour in the 1 Β½ cups of very cold heavy cream into the cold bowl.

3-Add the β…“ cup of granulated sugar, ΒΌ cup of cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cream.

4-Turn on your electric mixer to low speed first to combine everything without making a mess, then switch to high speed.

5-Whip until you see soft peaks, which takes about 3-5 minutes, or continue for stiff peaks if needed.

6-For vegan versions, replace the heavy cream with chilled coconut cream or whipped aquafaba and follow the same steps.

7-Taste as you go and adjust the sweetness or chocolate flavor by adding a touch more sugar or cocoa if it suits your taste.

8-Once done, use it right away or pop it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours, as per the directions.
