– 1 box (15.25 ounces) chocolate cake mix (dry)
– 1 box (18.3 ounces) fudge brownie mix (dry)
– 4 large eggs at room temperature
– 1 ΒΌ cups water at room temperature
– 1 cup oil
– 1 cup (238 grams) heavy whipping cream
– 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate as a substitute)
Instructions
1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350Β°F and spray a 10-inch Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
2-Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate cake mix, brownie mix, eggs, water, and oil for about 2 minutes until the batter is mostly lump-free.
3-Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs but no wet batter.
4-Cool the cake: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for up to 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a cooling rack to cool for about 30 minutes before adding the ganache.
5-Prepare the ganache: For the ganache, heat the whipping cream in a microwave-safe bowl for 45 seconds to 1 minute until it simmers, then pour in the chocolate chips and let it sit for 5 minutes.
6-Finish and serve: Whisk the ganache until itβs smooth and shiny, about 1 minute, then pour it over the cooled cake and serve.
