πŸ§„ Enjoy the comforting and delicious flavors of cheesy garlic bread that’s quick and easy to make at home.
πŸ§€ This recipe combines the richness of butter, the punch of garlic, and melty cheeses for a perfect snack or side dish.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 1 loaf of French bread serves as the base for a crispy texture

– 1/2 cup of softened salted butter adds richness to the flavor

– 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder provides a subtle garlic essence

– 3 minced garlic cloves delivers a fresh and aromatic garlic taste

– 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning enhances with herbs for added depth

– 1 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese tops for a melty, savory layer

– 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese ensures gooey, bubbly cheese perfection

– Fresh chopped parsley used for garnishing to add color and freshness

Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 400Β°F (204Β°C). Cut the French bread lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet lightly sprayed to prevent sticking.

2-In a small bowl, mix the softened salted butter with 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning until well combined.

3-Spread the butter mixture evenly on each side of the bread for full flavor infusion.

4-Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top halves of the bread.

5-Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the butter is melted and bubbly, then optionally broil for 1 to 2 minutes to crisp the top.

6-Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and let it rest for a few minutes before serving warm.

πŸ”₯ Avoid covering the bread while baking. You may loosely tent with foil if it browns too fast.
