Instructions

1-Getting started with Cajun Honey Butter Salmon: Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat and adding olive oil to prevent sticking. Pat the 1 lb of salmon pieces dry for the best sear, then season them with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning on the skin side.

2-Cooking the salmon: Once the oil is hot, place the salmon skin side up in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes to get a nice brown. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3 minutes until it’s opaque and flakes easily. In a separate bowl, mix the honey garlic butter sauce using ΒΌ cup melted salted butter, ΒΌ cup honey, ΒΌ teaspoon Cajun seasoning, and 5 cloves of fresh minced garlic.

3-Finishing the dish: During the last minute of cooking, pour half of the sauce over the salmon on medium-low heat to let it caramelize beautifully. Remove the salmon from the skillet, add the remaining sauce on top, and garnish with parsley and lemon slices for a fresh finish.
