  • Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: About 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk provides sweetness and creaminess

1.5 cups ice-cold water

One 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix

3 cups heavy cream creates rich layers

4 cups sliced barely ripe bananas adds natural flavor

One 12-ounce box vanilla-flavored wafer cookies

Instructions

1-First, in a large bowl, combine one 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk with 1.5 cups of ice-cold water. Whisk until well blended to form a smooth base.

2-Next, add one 3.4-ounce package of instant vanilla pudding mix to the mixture and whisk for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.

3-Then, in a separate bowl, whip 3 cups of heavy cream until it forms soft peaks, then fold it gently into the pudding mixture for extra creaminess.

4-Layer the bottom of your serving dish with vanilla-flavored wafer cookies from the 12-ounce box, followed by 4 cups of sliced barely ripe bananas, and then the pudding mixture.

5-Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top for a polished finish.

6-Finally, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to let the flavors meld and the textures set perfectly.
